A - Another Tale To Tell

PC : Unsplash

So, how did this tale begin
Was it with that cliched
Once upon a time
That made you child-like dreamy eyed
Believing in that ever so perfect
Happily everafter of an end
Or was it the not so much
Of a perfect fairy-tale beginning or end
Is what made you hear
Or did it just capture your attention
With one of those hooks on life!
Or was it the repertoire of questions
That compelled your glance
To pause and give it a read
Perhaps, this too being
Yet another imagery
Which evoked once again
Those foregone emotions
Making you graze over
The moments that were
A part of another anecdote
As rhetoric as this one
And possibly as mundane
Yet, as stirring
Even if it were
Just another
Of  those tales to tell
Of mine, of yours
Of that every someone
Somewhere else
